Die Bilder sind durch ein spezielles Entwicklungsverfahren ausgebleicht, reduziert in ihrer Farbigkeit wie in ihrer Durchzeichnung, so ins Graphische getrieben, das Überzeitliche, von je Gültige hervorkehrend. Eindrücke, die sich sofort einstellen: kahl, karg, grell, niedrige Horizonte, von Bergketten und–kämmen umstellt.
Die Weite dieser ja auf den ersten Blick engen Lebenslandschaft ist aufgenommen und vermittelt mit dem Panoramaformat. Eines Moments untergründiger Gefahr wird erst gewahr, wem das besonders kleine Fenster in dem abgesonderten Teil des Hauses auffällt–ein Zufluchtsraum für von Blutrache Bedrohte. Der Eindruck, der bleibt, ist der des Archaischen, Ursprünglichen, Zeitlosen. Und doch, die Gegenwart hat auch hier ihre Zeichen schon eingeschrieben, hinterlassen. — T.O. Immisch 2010

The pictures in this series are bleached through a special method in photographic processing. Reduced in color and detail, driven to graphic qualities they emphasize timelessness and all the things that are ever valid.
The first impressions are: bleak, barren, dazzling, low horizons, surrounded by mountain-chains and crests.The vastness of this living environment, that seems to be so narrow at the first glimpse is captured and conveyed by the images panoramic format.Only those who notice the especially small window in the separated part of the house, a refuge for those threatened by blood feud, are aware of the hidden threat.
