STEEL HEADS
Die Stadt Halle schrumpft vom Jahr zu Jahr. Allein in den letzten Zeiten haben jährlich über tausend Einwohner die Stadt für immer verlassen. Im Sommer ist alles sehr ruhig, weil ca. 15.000 Studenten fehlen. Für die „Studenten“ welche kommen und gehen, sind die Portäts enstanden. Fotoemulsion auf Edelstahlplatten, ein Material das Bleibt.

The city of Halle shrinks every year. Over 1000 residents annually left the city in recent times for good. Everything is even more quiet in the summer because of the 15.000 students that are absent. I made the Portraits for those students who come and go. Photosensitive coating on high-grade steel, a material that is meant to stay.
